When accessing the Sitecore menu in the Desktop, menu layering may obscure the All Applications child menu options. If so, add the CMS server to the browser’s trusted sites:

• IE: From the Tools menu select Internet Options
  
• IE: Select the Security tab and select Trusted sites
  
• IE: Select Sites, set the Add this web site to this zone field to the URL of the published site on the CMS server, ensure Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone is not selected and select Add
  
• IE: Clear the Browser Cache and/or refresh the browser window (CTRL-F5)
  
• IE: If the menu is still inaccessible, on the Advanced tab select Restore Defaults
